Any one have any opinions on Exausts - I am looking at buying a middle and back section - been thinking about the one from Power Engineering.....

Also - Want to fit some gagues - Anyone got a good kit / combination that they can recommend ?

Speak to craig at NAM about whether there are any spare defi guages!

he did an awesome price, and they look like the best kit I have seen.

The defi kits are truly beautiful, but I suspect will still be more than the cheapo Autometer stuff that I plumped for because I'm tight.

Cool

I have the PE T75 backbox on my MY00 and think it looks and sounds great, I prefer the twin tailpipes on it to the usual single big one of most of the after market BB's, however it seems to be a bit more noisey than the SS BB but if noise is not a problem then go for it. No experience with gauges though.

Tyres Northants will also fit other brands too - if you looked at my pages you'll have seen Autometer, and Tyres Northants fitted stef's for him.

The defi stuff is awesome. If you search in "Interior" for "fighter cockpit" you'll see Nito's rather splendid defi-equipped car.

Cool

On the exhaust front I've just put a Magnex back box on my MY00, took about 1/2 an hour to fit (didn't even have to jack my car up cos I've got a big slope on my drive!).

It sounds awesome with the windows down - at low speed a sort of helicopter sound - nailing it it sounds like a a group A rally car Windows up it's louder but not intrusive.

Well chuffed

Richard

PS: fitting tip; use washing up liquid to get the old exhaust off if you do it yourself.
