Question

Hello all, Ill be selling my Irish import sonic blue MY00 (Sep 2000) turbo soon and would like your opinion on what you think it is worth.

I've seen so many at varying prices I'm a bit confused. Its general good condition a few stone chips on the bonnet and a small ding in the NSR door thanks to some *** in a Tesco car park. 28k on the clock and EBC front disks and greenstuff pads, Milltek rear box and magnex straight through de cat mid section. It has the balance of its warranty and assistance which is currently 14 months.

Your opinion would be gratefully received.
Thanks
Jay

Thumbs up

I'd say about £12-13k.
I have a similar car but it's further specced so would expect a higher return of £14k.

your scooby is the same year, month, mileage, colour as mine.

i paid 16k 6 month ago, and would expect 15k today. there were plenty for sale at the time but only the one sonic blue which happened to be the most expensive, think people are willing to pay more for sonic blue IMHO, i know i did anyway.

Peccy,

Good new for me then.
Looks like I got a bit of a bargain at £14k.

Glad to see people are willing to pay a premium for Sonic Blue as well.

£14k does sound like a bargain!, or maybe its the norm, but if people like me are willing to pay more then thats what you could get.

Question

On the same subject, I have an MY00(UKcar), Deep Blue Mica, PPP, Prodrive brake conversion, 18'' Prodrive wheels, leather seats, armourfend, 5,500 miles,as new etc.
I was thinking of seeling/part exing it, but the prices are scarey, unless someone offers me a half decent price at a Dealership I will have to hang on to it.
What do you think I will get offered so I am prepared for the worst..

Hi peeps thanks for your thoughts, D.R. the price you suggest is what I was thinking, maybe 13.5k depending on how quickly I want to sell it. I do think the colour carries a premium, its the only one I wanted and why I chose to get an import. And Peccy I wish I could have bumped into you before you bought yours, I do think they are worth what you paid, but I hate selling cars and always under price to save hassle.
