We will be rallying the 1998 Type-R Scoob next year and as far as I can see, the regulations for Group N prohibit tinted glass (well certainly the glass in the Type-R).

Does anyone have any experience with the regs and this issue, and if it does need replaciing, does anyone know where I can go for it. Before anybody says P1 glass will do - I would have to re-mortgage the house to pay what Subaru or Autoglass would want for it!

As far as I know, the back glass could be replaced from a standard UK car (scrapyard jobbie?), but obviously, as a 2 door, the rear side windows are a bit different.

Any advice, help, ideas, etc, greatly appreciated.
