22B Clutch Warranty?

Can any body help me? I bought a 22B Type Uk
which had covered 6000 miles and was a year old, after owning the car for a further 15 months the car decided that it didnt want to engage 1st or reverse gears. I took the car to my dealer who then went ahead and took the clutch out, now the clutch they removed was an AP racing twin plate clutch, however they were told by IM to replace it with a 22B twin plate ceramic clutch. This all cost me £1700 which I didnt mind paying except the first time I used the car it was juddering very badly and still does. Also I ran the car in for 2000 miles and the first time I used it hard it decided to slip and now it seems every time I engage the clutch with any amount of accelerator movement it slips and continues to slip through each gear. I have been in touch with my dealer who has confirmed that it slips but they seem to be getting told that 22B clutches are not covered under warranty ( after 2000 miles!!!) Can anyone help me ? The car had no clutch slip before no matter how hard you drove the car!!!

DC, my was exactly the other way round.
Standard clutch was an exede, that had problems engaging 1st and eventually all gears. Also used to judder, after clutch was engaged.
Eventually changed for an AP twin plate, which has run beautifully since. Drives like a normal car, and handles all the torque no probs.
Cost me £1700 for clutch, lightened flywheel and complete gearbox rebuild. Speak to pete and scoobysport. He sorted mine for me. If yours isnt warranteed, dont do that again. Payong more for the exede clutch is a silly move.
