Colin McRae is the greatest - and that's official! The Flying Scot racked up his 25th career victory on the WRC in Kenya and that has out him one win clear of Tommi Makinen and Carlos Sainz in the outright wins leaderboard. more

Yep - so do I. He is a stunning driver - the best to watch by far. He is always committed (perhaps a little too much sometimes). I would rate him as one the top drivers of his generation. However to be consider the 'greatest' or the best or whatever, he needs to convert those wins into world championship titles. There is only so long that you can live off one world championhip (which was 7 years ago).

When you consider that Kankkunen and Makinen have both won the title 4 times and then you have Rohrl, Biasion (stunning driver) and Sainz who have all won it twice, I think he has a little way to go.

Chris
