I bought my 1st Scooby about a week ago, having never even sat in one b4 then and I know about as much about them as a caravaner has good road sense. What I do know it puts a smile on my face everytime you put your foot down
Its MY95 wrx, its had an induction kit and a filter added and Ive been told its about 260bhp and to run it on Optimax.
Id like to find out what sort of power the car puts out at the moment and if theres any thing that needs tweaking on it, there is a lack of books about them and I'd only consider myself an average home mechanic, so most of the technical stuff and engine mapping is beyond me.
Where is a good (Cheap) place to have the car on a rolling road
How do I find out what type the ecu is and where is it? Are there any things I can check myself?
Im in the Kingston surrey area so any advice on who to contact would be appreciated.
Thanks.

look at the sidc website (subaru impreza drivers club) under frequently asked questions for general info then go back to your dealer re ecu type, generally wrx(non sti) of your age put out 240 bhp and will have to run on optimax/superunleaded due to the high octane rating required of jap spec engines
