Not going to do it today because it's too sunny but I want to give the scooby the works sometime soon including a polish. Because its a dark colour I can see the swirls (only way I can think to describe it) from its last polish in direct sunlight. The saxo was particularly bad for this because it was black. I presume I'm crap at polishing and would appreciate tips on how to get it looking the dogs, even in direct sunlight.

Get some Mer, and instead of using car soap, or whatever, in the water you wash it with, use that. Give it plenty of elbow ofter an initial rinse off, then leather away and it's great. You get a hot wax with no white residue or swirls and once completed you don't need to polish it afterwards so you save some time aswell. It's a winner, and over time you build up a protective layer, keeping it easier to clean. This goes for the wheels too

Just bought ZYMOL starter japon kit £95 , have used
all-most every thing on market and this is the only
kit to have .
They supply a HD cleanser that WILL take out all swirls
and i mean ALL THE SWIRLS it is worth every penny
and much more (the only thing out there)
Best of luck Stewart.

Saxo Boy keep your eyes peeled for the next wax wizard group buy. Hopefully wont be too long as loads of peeps up for it. The number of people who reccomend this stuff is amazing so its gotta be worth the £100 price tag. Think it lasts for a couple of years though.

used wax wizard products for the frst time yesterday and I now have a car that looks better than it did brand new. Initially expensive but should last for ages and the result is awesome.

Blue, going on holiday soon up north where there are lots off bushes, etc and a good chance of further surface scratches. I'll maybe give you a mail about your offer when I get back.
Cheers, Kenny.

ur planning to go in the bushes with ur car?
I know u like ur scooby - but thats taking it too far!
Unless u mean oversteering too far and ending up in the bushes - i dont think a wax treatment will do u much good then
