what a good day Donington

I spectated.Saw Puff the magic wagon putting in a good performance as well as a P1(I think)with the numberplate"OVERTAKE".There didn't seem to be any obvious difference between the scoobys and evos but the Exige and Porsche were in a different class, eating up the track and multilapping most on the track.

Not so great if you thought you had track time until 6pm and they announced it had to finish at 5pm Never mind.
In hindsight (what a wonderfull thing) I would of
a) Gone this morning
b) Done more laps when I had the chance
Nice weather though

Agree, great fun (even though I only did a couple of slow sessions to bed in some new Pagid Blues).
Shame about the two guys who didn't twig it was actually a sighting session at the start of the afternoon session and tried overtaking everyone before having to come off anyway Chaps, wasn't it obvious???
Ian.

Yep, what a great day. Chris, I think average price would be closer to 15K. That makes closer to £7 MIllion. <not including "mod's".
Mike.
Thanks to all who came to see us, from a dealer point of view it was worth it for those who thanked us for making the effort.

Whilst the driving was fine for the main, I wasn't too impressed with the guy in the black Evo7. He made a cretinous manouvre past DocJock and someone who was obviously a newbie on track - DJ was patiently waiting for the newbie to move over when nobber in the Evo decided to pass both on the right, just as a bend arrived. It could have been very nasty. Not very clever at all.
Otherwise an impressive turnout from the Scooby crowd, a good day out all said and done.[]

Brilliant day, best bit for me was watching MELLOW having a good old battle with the Lotus Exige,i was stood on the raised bank overlooking the main straight and could see the scoob braking later and later each lap kicking **** into the path of the lotus as he cut the two tight corners at the end of the straight,i was laughing my head off,top stuff!Thought the porsche and skylines were impressive

Another enjoyable Scooby day Why did I sell mine. LOL
The Skylines were going very well, Thanks for the ride Cem
David Brown was driving the F355 sensibly but when he floored it down the straights the Skyline seemed to be as quick if not quicker although Cems is 450bhp.
Just a shame that some people thought they had to overtake the Ferrari no matter what, David sensibly let them come by.
This guy has a Ferrari, a Super charged Exige and has done the Scooby thing, he is also a tasty driver so it must amuse him when people think they have blown him off on track. From the exhaust note (oooohh the exhaust note) he was only driving the 355 at 7/10ths round most of the circuit, I'm not sure I'd have dared to take it on at all. Well done David for letting us experience the 355 at full song down the straights.
Overall though a very good day out and nice to to meet up with old friends again.

Gotta agree with the sentiment - top day
Thanks to SIDC staffies & "officers" that put so much work & effotrt into organising what has gotta be the best turnout of scoobs in a single place ever Thanks to Dono too for a excellent location
We turned up midday, met by Rum* & told to find somewhere to park! That was not easy by any means Bit of nosh, cruised the sites, bumped into a load of people then unfortunately secumbed to the track bug
Signed up for the second 20 min sesh as really couldn't come to a day/location like that & not have a play So had a helmet & it was newish road tyres only, no spares or insurance - take it easy chap. Made sure that I was at the front & went playing Sorry Salsa-King, had to leave you behind as lil yellow Evo wanted by butt - NFW
All to soon it was over ( Evo ) & I spent the rest of the afternoon cadging rides (thanks peeps ).
It was great to meet up again with loads of people I've met over the years & again others whom I'd never met before. Lots of scoobs, lots of noise - all in all an excellent day out
Looking forward to the next national day
Thanks guys
