Lovely 'sucking' noise

Since driving my RB5 I have noticed a fantastic 'sucking' noise when driving it hard. Once I get to about 4K revs it kicks in and sounds awesome.
Any ideas as to what it is?
Is it something to do with the dump valve??

Sounds like the air filter to me.
I have a hks induction kit and the sound it makes is fantastic, A loud sucking noise then a coooocchhhoo when i change gear sounds like a dump valve to.
