5 Type R

It has been brought to my attention that the Type R was never officially available in white and therefore always a special order version

I know I have seen pics of a few others but was unsure of how many White Type Rs are there here????

Friend of mine used to have a white Type RA Coupe - looked superb, and he had black wheels on it which looked very mean indeed. Pushed out about 330bhp IIRC

I am told that the RA was available in white anyway, it was just the Type R.

Not sure why this was though????

Apparantly its that the white ones were primarily manufactured to be used as competition shells etc.

Wasnt Prodrives Prototype P1 a white Type R? and didnt they have a few others which they sold off to the dealer networks??
