Have a MY00 4dr with the normal high level wing. Have noticed that where the wing connects to the boot lid it is bending upwards. The bootlid on the wing edge is now slighty higher than rear wing.
Causes???
Wind is putting pressure on the bootlid...
or
Car had badly fitted panels, I was too blinded by my new toy to notice....
or
Someone has had a go at there own bodypart removal...
Any other ideas???

I think it must be just crap panel fit. The spoiler (I'll avoid the term 'wing' to avoid confusion with 'rear wing' meaning the bit on the side of the car with the fuel filler cap on it) generates downforce to counteract the lift of the rear of the car. I think overall lift at the rear of the scoob is about 3kg at 100mph. So let's say a spoiler-less Scoob has lift at the rear of 50kg. To reduce this to 3kg, the spoiler has to generate 47kg of downforce. So the bootlid should be pressed down -- i.e. if there was any ill effect the bootlid would be lower than the rear wing. Although the high-level spoiler is more 'spoiler' (smoothing out turbulent airflow) than 'wing' (generating downforce), I wouldn't mind betting that that little upward kick at the trailing edge generates some downforce. I don't think the underside is shaped like an inverted aerofoil.
