Towing/Kerb Weights?

Cheers...
those figures seem quite good but I wonder if the tyres will catch on the rubber strip? When fully loaded, mine catch on the rear arches - could be going back to the original sized rims if that's the case

Has anyone had the unfortunate pleasure of having to tow a caravan with the Scoob? I'm after the hook/kerb wieghts, which I can't find in the manual. The wife is determined she's gonna get a caravan, but I don't want to give up the Scoob in favour of an aerodynamic breeze block!!
Any help will be much appreciated

I thought the figure was 1800kgs for a braked trailer? but I could be wrong.
I have 17's on and have noticed the occassional scrape on the arch when fully loaded and towing (not a caravan but a trailer, need to keep my image intact )
You could swap to original wheels for the towing holiday or see how you get on.. if the van is loaded properly weight wise you shouldn't have too much weight on the rear of the car etc.. and you might be okay.
I find the Scooby a very good towing vehicle and have had aproaching a ton in a trailer on the back with no problems.. (and the brakes on the trailer were broken... shhhhhh....).
Petrol consumption obviously gets worse.. but it is lots of fun still beating people off the lights with a trailer on the back
