Put me down on the list for a set (WRX MY01).
What colours are you going to do them in? And how much?
Wouldn't mind black with white prodive logo

I am considering embarking on a production run of rally style mud flaps for the new age Impreza. I am aware of the high price of the O.E. flaps, and can produce high quality sets at a fraction of the cost. These won't be 'mickey mouse' items, as I appreciate the value of these vehicles, and own an STi7 myself.
I have been producing mud flap sets for the Mitsubishi Evo VI and VII for some time, selling over 150 sets with nothing but praise for the quality of materials, fit, and finish. Please check out the Mitsubishi Lancer register forum, www.lancerregister.com, search for 'flapman' (me) and read all about it.
The flaps are produced from Kaylan, as used by Prodrive, Ford WRC, etc etc. All the fittings are produced from stainless steel. It would take a few weeks to get up and running, so please let me know if you are interested. This post is not a commercial advertisement, I am just wanting some low-cost mud flaps for my new car, and would like to offer them to the Scooby public.
Cheers.
Scott.
I have photos available of the flaps as fitted to the Evo, to give an idea of appearance.

Scott,
I'd be interested in a set at the right price ( fellow Yorkshireman's price ) as I've found out how much the dealer ones cost (even the new, "cheap" versions!)
can you do fronts as well as rears? colours / grafix etc?
Is it a self-tapper fixing method or clamps etc?

I've already gone down this route a bit as well. Contacted suppliers, got samples (the Rally Blue colour is very very close to the colour of the blue on the new STi's ).
I was going to go down the route of making a couple of sets of mini-mudflaps for the front, and was going to make them in black, 2mm D60 hardness polyeurethane. This would be from a single sheet of the stuff, and a few of us were just going to split the costs between us. The other option was to make full size flaps in A90 hardness 3mm polyeurethane.
However, I haven't had time to make up templates yet, so if you have got the time, and the falps are a sensible price then I'm more than interested

Trying to answer questions for you all;
I intend to produce them in sets of four, but either front or rear pairs could be optional.
Unsure of the exact fixing method as yet, regarding drilling etc. Will definately make use of existing holes in bumpers/side skirts though.
Colours, RED, BLACK, WRBLUE, perhaps others if in demand.
Price, as yet to be confirmed! Not cheap, certainly, but a fraction of the cost of O.E. ones.
