Queue of traffic bumbling along behind a driver doing 40 in a 50.....road looked clear, went to overtake, saw a car coming, could have made it (honest!!) but sparing myself the pain of having my girlfriend screaming in my ear, pulled back in. White van in front then began gesticulating out the window....following that, he began swerving across the road.

I too would have been a little tetchy if someone had failed in overtaking and had hastilly pulled back in front of me. The only difference is I DIDN'T overtake.

what is wrong with these people?

oooooooh it makes me sooooooo bilious!!!!

thats better , spleen vented.

ps MTR....the exhaust is on and she sounds great!

On my way to Tyres Northampton this morning, on the A43, some bloke + family in a Rover 200 sitting in the outside lane of the dual carriageway, nothing for him to overtake within half a mile (!), steady 50mph... being a polite chap, I waited behind him, didn't undertake, didn't flash. However after going straight on at a roundabout I went to overtake on the next stretch of d/c and got a load of abuse / hand gestures etc...

Next time I'll just undertake and flash the lights methinks....
