Scott J Davies mentioned Shell Optimax in a differenct thread (apparently 99 RON). I got so excited that I dropped an e-mail to Shell to ask where I can buy it

Has anyone on the BB seen/used this stuff?

Shell Optimax is available in Australia and it's 98 RON. I Don't think it's available in Europe, but I could be wrong.

Shell Optimax is available in Germany (not in Holland or Belgium), it's RON 99; my scoob is addicted

and i've the feel the car is a bit smoother with it

In Hungary , Czech republic and Slovakia is named as Shell V Power Racing +99

I've emailed Shell, will post reply when I get it. Also asked why super is much more expensive than NUL, when it isn't in Europe, and they have reduced the tax rate - don't expect much joy from that mind.....
