Egg seem to be offering good deals at the moment, with 0% on shifting money accross and low APR's.

I checked a while back and they seemed competitive, give them a try.

Lightbulb

Last time I checked Capital One were doing 6 months interest free on new purchases, I've had no problems with them, been using the card for about 10 months now.
BTW the limit they set is 1/3 of my salary

get two cards - an egg one and any other one. Pay for your insurance on the other one, then transfer the balance to the egg one. Apply for the egg before Thursday (you can do it on-line in about 20 mins) and you get 6 months interest free on balance transfers carried out before end of July. The are quite generous with limits

be careful with capital 1.they advertise rates but not every customer gets the advertised rate. Some will even have a high rate.
I shopped around and went with Egg,got 15k limit without even asking.Easy on line as some have said as well.Save and Prosper do a good one as well.
