17S ARE GOOD AND 18S LOOK GREAT. 16" TYRES ARE CHEAP, 17S ARE AFFORDABLE AND 18S ARE BLOOMING REDICULOUS.

I WOULD GO TO 17S UNLESS YOU HAVE A BIG BANK BALANCE. 18" CAN MAKE THE MY99 HANDLE A LITTLE STRANGELY TOO.

in what way make it handle strangely?

visited ur site... what wheels do u sell?

got an offer for P1 wheels.. 17"...

wondered if most P1 wheels are 17 o 18"?

18 do look expensive.. maybe better off getting 17 and upgrading brakes...

?

go for 17's - 18's tramline and are expesnive on tyres - I had a Cossie with 18's on Rondalls - nice but uncomfortable and expensive on tyres!

Wink

Got my P1 on 18's and it's fairly comfortable - a charactersitic of the P-Zero's apparently.

Only get 18's if you've got big brakes though, otherwise they look a little out of place.

Cheers

Thumbs up

Go for 18's.
How are you going to feel if you put 17's on it and a car pulls up next to like a porsche gt3 with 18's on it

oh dear - sounds like were going inot a 'muppet' post

Very few have the 18's-unless you have the P1 (nvermind) - I know of someone who put the 18's and and sold them after a few months and went back to 17'

If you have loads of money then go for the 18's - that said I would pay less secon d hand for a car with 18's - bit of a KEV boy racer look - possibly P1 excepted

Cool

18's helped me to whip a Suzuki gsxr750 around the corners.

But I suppose 17's would be nearly as good.

Hi AlanG,

Our worst nighmare's have just came true.
I also have a silver 4 door with R3's.
To add to injury, I was driving on the road towards preston, and what was sitting on the
opposite side of the carriage way in a layby, another silver 4 door with R3's.
Buy the way I am now traiding it in tomorrow for a space hopper!

Hi AlanG,

Is your car lowered.
Since I put the wheels on it is sitting like a tractor. I would like to lower it by about 40m. Any ideas?

Guess not.
There is alot of room between the tyres and the arches at the front.
I could probably fit another 16 inch on to it!
What would you recomend as a reasonably hight to drop it buy. 25m?
