Question

I know this is the general question forum but need a quick answer. Can you only purchase these wheels from Subaru? If so who's doing the best deal? Are they the same as the P1 upgrade?
Cheers,
Mark.

According to a dealer I know, the WRC 01 P1 lookalike wheels are just that. They are look alike and are not the same as the P1 wheels. The offset is different MY01 to P1

The wheels fitted to UK300 are the same as the P1 upgrade but the tyres are of a different size.
Available from your dealer for the last 3 months!

Perhaps you can answer me a question re the 17" P1 Anthracite wheels then. I need 2 new ones for my P1. I have been advised by my dealer that the OZ 10 spoke wheels advertised on the Subaru site (SACC2509) at £199.95 each are not the same as the P1 wheels, indeed I have been told that the P1 wheels are dearer by about £50 each.
I am totally confused and would like a definitive answer.

Thanks
Steve

The P1 wheel has very slight differences to the accessory wheel.

Pricing is down to Subaru UK so I can't comment.

What are the differences? If I bought sacc2509 and put it on the P1 would there be any change to the handling.
Sorry to be a pain, but if the wheels have the same physical size and offset then I don't need to pay over the odds.
It is the standard 17" wheel I am talking about.
Funnily enough when I checked an old thread re P1 wheels in gold the partno was SACC2510. That is the part number for the 01 Oz WRC 10 spoke on Subaru's web site. I would be very interested to know the differences between P1 wheel and SACC2509
Cheers

Steve

As a further update, the original part is the same price as the accessory part.
Make sure your dealer orders the right one although I don't have the part number.

Dimensionally they are the same but have slight visual differences. Basically if you put them on you won't have a full set of the original wheels.

Mike

Thanks for the information

I will speak to my dealer and find out where all the confusion is coming from. And why S.UK told him that the offset was different and the cost £50 a wheel more.

Thanks again
Steve
