@hedgecutter is your man, he has yellow spec c and could tell you, but the paint in the engine bay on our uk blobeye and my jdm legacy is different to the exterior so it’s probably as is.

All Subaru's come from the factory with different underhood colour to the exterior finish, some a closer match than others and no clear coat.

Underhood colour for Yellow finishes - paint codes

CS34 (Juicy Yellow)

or CS3V (Orange)

Totally normal. If you look carefully at any of my pics you will see that mine has had a new wing as the colour is the same as the exterior.
I would do a bit more research about Imprezas and specifically hatches, before you buy, as there are far more important things to look for. You can pm me for more advice if you want.
The first two yellow hatches in the UK, 7 years ago, were both circa 20k miles. Mine was an R grade, the other oem 4.5 grade. Guess which one had all the issues?

That's my old spec c, they are all like that under the bonnet, you won't go far wrong with that car, I imported it.
Its on sale at KGF Classics for £23,995 as they have contacted me for some back ground history.
