Default K sport 356mm, bug sti alloys

Just wondering if anyone is running or knows if the k sport 356mm brake kit will fit under the gold bug sti alloys, have brembos on at the moment but they are in need of a full refurb.

Not a great deal of clearance on AP's with 330mm rotors, I doubt there's sufficient clearance for 356mm, IIRC they need 18's.

No way 356mm brake kit will fit under 17" wheels.
Here is some photos of 17" wheels with the VA 6 piston Brembos which uses 340mm disc. (From NASIOC)
Notice how VERY little room is left and with wheels weights stuck on they are dangerously close to the caliper.

yes Team Dynaimcs race wheel will clear a larger than 330mm kit (we have custom made 356mm Alcon monobloc kits to suit) but not under a std factory STi wheel.......

for reference the same style TD wheel in 18" will accept a custom 380mm / Alcon kit as we have done it......

technically ET doesn't come into it, its the Inner wheel clearance / spoke design that dictates if it clears the caliper

technically it does, smaller et push spokes outside caliper ,inner barrel size is important to👍
for example You will struggle with inovit to fit over thick oem sti brembos with 330mm discs where will fit over 356mm with ksport caliper.

to the op ksport has a sale for front kits( facebook)356mm costs around 1100 punds without pads, ask them about pads in those price. I will not buy inovit ,poor alloy and paint used. Better to go with some rotas flowformed ones like grids, those are on BF sale to.

not if your comparing wheels for the same vehicle as the ET range is limited anyhows............the Inovit has a poor inner spoke clearance / barrel design and it is this that causes it to impact the Brembo caliper
we could clear any brakes we wanted by simply fitting ET5 wheels otherwise

And wrong again plus You are mixing a two barrel and spokes where You have to separate them. You forgot about wheel width thats matter not every car will take et5 ,on imprezas it will stick outside an arch .
With inovit You need 3mm spacer ,barrel is ok on inovit it clears 356mm discs with ksport caliper ,its not a barrel touching caliper but inner spokes touch it for example over 41cm space on inovit in a barrel will take alcons 365mm but wont take brembos with 330mm discs where You simply lower et by 3mm adding spacers and it will clear oem brembo, nothing to do with a barrel just with spokes design and et.
newest sti wheels enkeis for example et44 and spokes are correct( clears oem thick brembos) but barrel has max 40.5cm and will not clear calipers on alcons 365mm or apracing with 362mm discs where there is enough space for calipers faces and et5 will give You nothing on that scenario. i compared one inovit wheel with the same et for brembos and ksport clearance in different discs sizes as i owed inovit, brembos and ksport in the past than what You are answering me about.

so inovit redlines with an ET of 45 will work with the k sports do you think

no idea what your description of a wheel "Barrel" is as we are obviously at cross purposes........
in basic terms its exactly as I have described - if your vehicle fitment range ET wise is ET48-53 (as most std Subaru classics albeit you will get away with more on new-age and particularly if you roll / mod arches) with a max rim size of 8" then you can have something like a 17" Team Dynamics race wheel which will comfortably fit a 356mm / 6pot caliper inside with ET50 whereas the likes of an ET48 OZ Turismo in 8x19" won't clear many 330mm set-ups and certainly doesn't work with factory STi Brembo's
this is simply down to the poor internal spoke design of the OZ where they radius inwards and hence impact on brake caliper clearance.......

funnily enough have managed to make wheels / custom brakes work for 25years+........

It usually depends on the design of the Hump and Drop center area.
