Leggy question....
Hi all,
A friend of mine is looking at Legacy's. 2007 / 2008 circa £3k - £4k
2.0 N/A Automatic REn - What does REn even mean?
110k miles and 130k miles.
Are they pretty good cars generally, I guess it depends on the life / how well looked after etc of course - this kinda makes me an askhole I know.
But are they a car to generally avoid of that age?
Do they suffer from particular prone things?

Models ranged from R, to RE and the n denotes nav so had the sat nav screen on the dash between the air vents.
Have driven a friends 07 2.0R but it’s a manual. It has done 100k but drives pretty well. It is ok but if used to the power of an Impreza with a turbo they are a little gutless, and much softer in terms of ride and the front end does feel a little like a nodding dog which I have heard mentioned about some Subarus. Front drop links knock a little.
I have recently bought a WR limited, which is a jdm legacy gt spec b with a few bells and whistles. 2 litre twin scroll 260-280bhp, 5 speed auto tiptronic, bilstien dampers. Mine is a 54 plate (only made the wr limited in 04/05) with 58k miles. It is a cracking car that has none of the negatives I’ve mentioned about the 2.0R I’ve driven.
