For me I’d say if there all in there limits and you have to replace discs then I’d go Godspeed or ebc , if it’s just pads I’ve only ever used ds2500 , ebc red and currently using Brembo hp2000 which are very good in my opinion. I also only ever use spirited road driving although did have ebc red when at brands hatch track day. Depends on the dreaded budget. !

I need discs pads and handbrake shoes, i wasnt sure to just replace with brembos discs and pads, my budget would probably be around 750 sterling for everything

Currently got EBC Blues on mine which are okay but a little wooden. Had EBC Oranges previously; the first set were outstanding but the second not so much. Also got HP2000's on the BMW and for a fast road pad (that thing gets driven hard) they seem absolutely spot on, like a better, more OEM like (in terms of breadth of nice feel) DS2500. If you're not tracking and don't melt everything you put in there then the Brembo's may well be a good all round performance option for you.

Hi, I have a 2003 Sti and replaced all disc and pads last year with EBC Yellowstuff pads and BSD discs. They are really good - not the cheapest but in my opinion worth the money if you are going to keep the car for a while. Changed the fluid at the same time. The pedal is very firm, good cold braking and they cope very well in Seville where I live with temps in summer at 44 degrees during August!

Also the dust is way better than other pads I have had in the past. Really happy with them and they look amazing!

They won't be as good as the HP2000's but they'll function fine if you're not pushing it hard.

never had any joy with any variation of "Kevlar" pads - we don't find them exciting and in most cases a good quality OEM pad will outperform them.....

Thats because they are sold as a pad that works like standard , but will hold on slightly more when having a spirited drive , they are not sold as a performance pad like PF or CL , they suit those who drive there cars as a daily , work , school runs , shops ect , and spirited now and again , if you are looking for sharper brakes , upgrade the fronts to PF Z rated
