We are super excited to launch a new way to enjoy the ScoobyNet community from your mobile devices!

It's still a very early beta but beginning today if you're logged in and visiting the Community from your mobile device, you can now choose a dark mode theme in addition to the standard 'bright' theme we've always had 😎

We are looking to you for feedback about the experience. Being that you are one of the very first communities we're trying this out on, we don't expect to have gotten it perfect so we appreciate any feedback you're able to provide.

We also recognize that some of you would like to see a dark mode on desktop, we do too! Our first goal is to perfect this mobile experience and our hope is to release dark mode for all browsers once the summer is over. Thank you all in advance for your understanding.

Please log in from your mobile, turn the dark mode on using the Hamburger menu and let us know your feedback in this thread.

yeah, the app(s) have been deprecated for a while, the mobile theme is entirely within our own teams ‘control’ and we update it frequently with improvements. something we were literally unable to do with either of the apps unfortunately.

Ah ok i use the App mainly, think its really good. Not fused about a dark mode. Think the App needs to be more advertised as most on here don't even know about it.

And dark mode does what, apart from change the background? Hardly a leap forward in user experience.

Really why? Great app. When was that dropped?

 

they were handled by an outside team who no longer exist. They have been deprecated for about five years.

 

Oh wow just checked the App Store it's no longer there, garage talk. So will this app expire at some stage? Any chance another app will take over in the further?
