Cheers

I recently had a 2.1 built up and it came to about £5.5k including buying a V8 STI engine with AVCS for £700 (that needed a rebuild anyway)
By the time I'd factored in new engine mounts, clutch, flywheel, Fuel rails, injectors, hoses, etc etc it was all about £8k.

I dont see any mention of upgrading your oil pump, which I'd consider pretty important.

component costs (quality for quality) are basically the same so a 'stroker' should be similar price unless its EJ22T based where the pistons in particular are more expensive.............

if £5.5K is a "std" rebuild then we obviously need to review / increase our pricing!!

personally you would be better off either using a std or more widely known pump IMO.............lots of uprated / modified pumps out there that couldn't be further from the truth

would only use a genuine Subaru item or an RCM variant and have proven both items over a long period
