Problem with alot of these old imports now. Seen a few YouTube videos on it, some rough stuff is being sold at the auctions. Wonder hours much it cost him? More like £10,000 works have thought.

Problem is it might be a quite easy fix but will be really expensive for a drive in drive out job. Most body shops won't touch it because the engine is in the way. For them to remove the engine they will need to send it to a mechanics, thats time consuming for a business so will charge you for the hassle. This starts mounting up very quickly.

If you were to do the running around yourself you could save a lot but its the effort and thats down to an individual.

Thanks for the larger pics, Jaygsi, as that RA website wouldn't permit me to enlarge 'em.
Very sad for the owner, who's spent loads on ceramic this and underbody that.
I read his 'journal', and it seems he's sold most of the bits already

the bloke is asking crazy prices for parts. Saying that, prices of Subarus have gone insane. Christ knows what my mint RA would be worth now. Im glad im out to be honest as they are not 20k cars.
Glad I've owned and enjoyed loads at sensible money
