Default Subaru Arch Protector trim

Hi guys

Is the arch protector trim bit necessary when we had the archs welded in they didn't put the holes back in. I can bond them back on but like it without tbh.

If they are there for a reason I'll put them back on

Classic guy here, mine were redone and I have no intention of putting them back on.
