Purchased a hand brake gator from the ebay company that did my gear stick gator and its being an absolute pig to fit. It's as if the leather is too thick to squeeze into the surround. Tried cutting the end where they fold the leather to stitch it and it's made zero difference.

I'm covered in glue, ruining it with glue and now the stiching is coming apart.

Anyone changed one of these for a red Stitch one with ease?

 

The leather is far to thick to fit the recess so ordered new.
3wk wait and no stock at ICP so ordered from jap land.

 

its not the outcome I wanted but I'm not going to waste more money on aftermarket if they don't fit.

 

Why dont you buy a decent 2nd hand one, im sure matty b has got millions of them.
Doubt he would charge £40.

 

I have an issue with marks and people's 'mint' being no where near mine. I know matt does excellent items but I'd rather buy new even if it means waiting.
