hand brake

hello,

my hand brake leaver is stopping to high. i wanted to adjust the hand brake. where can i find a DIY manual to adjust the hand brake?

simple as matey. at the base of the handle, under the centre console, you will see a 10mm nut holding the cable in. tighten this up and itll bring the handle down.

You need to adjust the shoes first to get them right , once they are done , you take up the slack in the cables at the handbrake lever

if you have an ealry car like mine, then to get the adjuster you have to pull the rubber boot off the handbrake lever ((pull it forwards, over the lever handle) and then you gain access to the adjuster and locknut
