Default Fellow bugeye owners stand up!

So another day off work to do a few bits on the scoob, coolant leak turned out to be the thermostat seal which was promptly replaced, old DV replaced for a nice new shiny one then off out for a drive and a clean. Initially was never a fan of the bugeye but it has grown on me in time ... enough so I now own one!

not looking quite as sorry for itself as it was in the last photos... Still needs side repeater covers though.

That's nice! Like that a lot ... wouldn't want to swap interiors would you?

Oof they’re both nice bugs!

I have a JDM STI which I’m tinkering with, I’m keeping it standard and doing small jobs around the car to improve it. I’m waiting on some new lights as the current ones are crazed even after restoring them and I’m going to get busy with the hand polish to take a few light swirl marks out and there’s a plan for the C pillar trim too. After that it’s getting really picky, where to stop?

Haha 'where to stop?" Is definately the question, one that I can't seem to find an answer for luckily my Mrs loves the scooby so she doesn't get too upset when bits keep turning up for it! Although I haven't spent too much on the car as it had been stood for 3 months prior to about 2 weeks ago! Both of your cars are very nice by the way!

looking good! I've got to find some tine at the end of the month to get it in the workshop and replace the gearbox as 3rd gear decided it doesn't want to play anymore although I did get a box for 300 quid so I'm not too upset lol
