Default Replace breather hoses?

Hi all,

2007 STi.
Whilst I was doing my drivers side rocker cover gasket yesterday, the two breather hoses I had to take off (hardest part of the whole damn job!) were pretty brittle and rock hard.
I couldn't see any splits or cracks, but both were more like steel pipes!

I've found the replacements on ICP for about £60 delivered, but would you replace them?

in simple if there that hard yes , i also did the top rubber power steering hose ( reservoir to pump ) , the hoses get hard don’t seal properly then you get air into the system and pump problems , it’s relatively cheap preventative maintenance , plus you don’t want pipes failing at the wrong time 👍

Ordered this morning, dispatched this afternoon. No rush, if they arrive after Christmas that's cool.

If the old ones are as hard to get off the rocker cover again I will be slicing them off, they just don't know it yet
