Default Plate delete

Will I get away with just a warning if I’m pulled for displaying no front number plate. Got a Perrin delete plate on for aesthetics lol.

You may get a warning first. Then 7 days to fix it.

Why? You know you should be displaying a front plate so why do it?

Depends on the police at that time mate. Some will let you go, some will just go n write you a ticket straight away but either way it's a legal requirement so you know the potential outcome if you don't display your reg number

again it depends on who stops you , a ticket would be the least of your issues , no front plate on purpose then you are avoiding cameras etc on propose , at extreme a night in a cell , a car being seized , a lot of traffic plod would be less than sympathetic

Why do such a thing? I mean just ****ing look at it 🤤

Didn’t take long to get pulled over lol. Literally a street from home and got told to get it fixed. They did ask for my name, I guess to make sure I matched up etc.

I just see an ugly raised spot where there should obviously be a plate To each their own I guess. Think you've got pretty lucky with whoever pulled you over.

Put a small plate on instead. I used a smaller plate for 2 years and never once got a tug. One was very small.

"Sorry sire didn't notice, someone must have stolen it?"

-This is what I've used. They can't prove that I'll lie and they can't accuse that my plate would not have been stolen multiple times. Not at least here in Finland. Nor can they seize your (my) car.

And I agree, the Scooby or about any other performance oriented car out there looks better without (front) plate. But my reasons were on our national habit of placing speed cameras not at the suburbs but a money making machines for example at the end of the dual carriage road "overtaking lanes", speed cameras at downhill where limit goes from 60 to 50mph in the middle of nowhere and so forth. Nothing but money collecting. Here's my F-car and old Scoobie:

Can't exactly use that excuse when you've very obviously removed it and replaced it with a blank like the Perrin

I didn't have the correct spacing for 1 letter and they gave me a 14 day notice to get corrected.

I think messing with the plate just risks drawing unwanted (cough) attention.

Talking of offensive plates there's a range rover in South London that has H8 FEDS
they missed a trick there. Ha ha.
not that its really offensive but they need to update for sure.
But I bet he gets pulled frequently.
