Jap tax at it's finest.

I do wonder what my 2007 STi Spec D fully forged would be worth right now, with 97k miles (fully forged at 45k, then again at 85k)

Here's the old advert, was £10,000, so red mistake or it's sold. Looks like mistake as price is now £9,000.

Yeah the prices are nuts like we have basically put ours up for 9k and then put around 6k in bits to go on for a extra 5k. I'm hoping I can keep her though tbh as it's a great car I'm just a bit worried as had to get a new job due to bmw pulling there orders. New job is permanent but less money like plus it doesn't help getting dick around by the garage that is going to do the work should of been done by now ready for the bodyshop

You'll like this one too. I went to see it twelve months ago when I was looking to buy my first Subaru, it was very local at the time so no reason not to go and see it. It was up for sale on behalf of the owner as a sale or return arrangement, I was told it hand't had a service in 7 years and the cam belt was even longer, the service history took some time but it sheepishly appeared and it backed this up. It was rough on start up and idle but not smoking, the rear drivers door had a big dent in it and the glass replaced which also didn't work properly. The wheels needed a refurb, the tyres were mixed budget and in need of replacement. The boot lid, roof above the rear window were well rusted and the arches were starting to go too. Interior wasn't great with various worn out bits and there were odd things for example the front grill no longer fitted properly and the badges were delaminating which overall made it look a bit tired and untidy.

Car was advertised as immaculate at £11k and the dealer said he'd fix all the above for £400 at a cost to me.

I don't know what condition it's in now and a lot can be fixed in a year, unfortunately the photo's aren't good enough to see what has and hasn't been sorted but if someone had the time and was handy with body work and engines it could have been a good project provided the price reflected the condition. I half expected to see it parted out though.
