Downpipe heat

Default Downpipe heat

When fitting downpipe what do people recommend to keep the heat down iv used exhaust coatings in the past but its mega expensive and they took ages to do it is the heat wrap any good can anyone recommend me one

I used magma wrap on all of my downpipes over the years with some decent wire ties,never had an issue and didn't look to bad 3 years later. Sure RCM sell magma wrap

I use these ties, their stainless electrician's use them for fire alarm cables. You can pick them up in any sparkys merchent for 15 quid for a 100. Dont buy them from a motorsport company as they will rinse you, ive seen them for a quid each from merlin or someone

I’m pretty sure that Magma wrap from RCM or DEI is the same stuff, both very good, I use lockwire to secure it
