Check over basics then Hand crank it first to make sure it turns over without resistance.
If its 05 is it a 2.5 or a 2.0? Then on starter to build up some oil pressure...
2.5 just crank it with throttle flat to floor. It cuts fuel with throttle flat to floor when cranking on drive by wire cars
2.0 disable fuel pump via fuse or pull plug of top of tank then crank
Once it's got a bit of oil round it then just trying starting as usual. Throw gallon fresh fuel in it will help wouldnt worry about octane booster for time being

Check how full the fuel tank is- if it is full I'd probably drain it out as much as possible.
If it is reasonably low, like 1/4 etc. then I'd brim it with jerry cans of vpower and that should be enough- bear in mind stale fuel often makes MOT emissions terrible so if you're intending to get it on the road it's better to do this at some point anyway.
