For anybody cleaning the engine bay...
When new the car comes with the whole engine bay coated in a protective film....this should be left as is!!!

A word of advice if cleaning under your bonnet:
There is an absolutely savage edge where the wings edges finish and bolt down.
I found this out when I enthusiastically wiped a sponge along the underside of that joint. The sponge resisted the cut for about 2mm before I started slicing into my finger. I quite literally went down to the bone.

I particularly don't reccomend this if you don't like blood or pain.

Neil.
