Default Battery dead - car locked

Had a night mare!

Basically the battery has died. Keeps draining for some reason but that's another story.

So yeah, it's locked. It doesn't have enough charge to unlock the central locking. So I can't get the bonnet un-latched to charge the battery.

Is there any way to un-latch the bonnet. Or charge the battery from from another source other than the battery.

Wrx sti 2010.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers, Tom

does your keyless entry key fob not have a spare key built into it , and i assume even with keyless they still fit locks , i don’t have a lot of knowledge around keyless in newer subaru’s

the wireless key fob has an emergency key in it to open the drivers door.

I feel like a right numpty now.

Didn't realise you had to turn the key and pull the handle at the same time 😂

Cheers anyway

Wouldn't worry, there's a lot worse stories on here. The parking light catches many out every year lol
