Classic wagon ARB/Lowering springs
Hi after some advice for my classic wagon, uk 1996. Thinking of going for a 22mm rear ARB and lowering springs to improve stance and handling. I'm on stock sti 16" wheels. advice/suggestions more than welcome, thank you

Cheers, I've decided to just put springs on for now, some advice I got was that a bigger ARB plus being lowered may in some ways be counter-productive

Your call your car , the issue you can have is you do springs say 300£ , then you think i want the next stage , so you change shocks then think still want better , so what you have spent is the cost of Tein basics at around 510 £ , i did the route of shocks then ended up with coilovers which were much better than when i did the shocks , the Tein basics are height but not rebound adjustable , i had them on my wagon they worked well , option two value for money is BC , i swapped a rear Arb on to a car with coilovers already fitted i did not notice any change as the coilovers made all the difference , arb would help on a standard car but the flip from grip to no grip is a quicker 👍
