worse case scenario , can be a sign of hg on the way out , try when engine is cold park it on an upward slope , take the pressured tank rad cap off , heating on full and start the car , it’s one way to bleed the system if it’s not been done properly when filled with coolant , last part are the controls moving is there any hot air coming out any where , and what is your coolant doing level wise when cold or hot ?

Theirs only abit of luke warm that comes out the heaters under the stereo, if you turn the blower up to full it comes out cold, coolant level hasn’t moved still the same and the temp gauge is normal

the level in the clear non pressured expansion tank should go up when hot , when fully cooled then should return all the way back down , is the rad hot top and bottom ? i would still try and burp the air out of the system if it’s not been done properly , the blower needs to be on full heat when you bleed it , or as above the controls not working

The heater is a full flow bypass unit (no valves) so it doesn't matter where the controls are when you bleed the cooling system.

Hot and cold through the heater is adjusted by air flaps which are controlled by electric actuators, maybe one of the links has come detached.
You could try the diagnostics option in the following threads
