Default Boo For Samco

Just heard from Samco that they've stopped doing pink as an option. Such a shame as it was not only a good match for the STI pink but it was also a good way to show a little support for those suffering from breast cancer. No it's not the end of the world but if anybody else was hoping to purchase pink Samco maybe they should let them know and maybe they'll consider bringing it back.

Can't see pink as an option on any of their hoses so maybe they've stopped doing them too

Was this at Samco direct. Or through a different company. What are people's recommendations then is Samco the only brand to go for or are there other alternatives.

I ordered through Demon Tweeks but I’ve been emailing Samco directly. They’ve just explained they had issues with most of them fading which is why they’ve stopped doing pink.

I have a matt black inlet hose from Samco. I think it may have come from RCM?
Proper stealthy, looks OEM and doesn't even have Samco on it - I only knew as I saw it in the sealed foil bag.

That's exactly what I'm after - hoses that look OE with no silly aftermarket branding on them. Currently have blue Samco hoses which were fitted by the previous owner and they clash horribly with the intake manifold. Are you 100% certain there's no Samco branding on it? I'm sure it's hiding somewhere

Edited to add.... Had a quick look on the RCM site and found these...

They still have the Samco logo.

Not that I can see whilst fitted anyway, I'm 95% sure it didn't even have any branding anywhere....
The blockers are obviously Samco, these are for where I have a deleted PCV valve and Mocal catch can. It doesn't catch anything which is good, more just vapours and pretty much a fancy vent to atmosphere set up from the rocker covers.

EDIT - Yes, looks branded underneath, must be just hiding under my PAS hard line :

Samco do both black with logos and the classic range which is designed to look more like oem rubber hoses.

Cheers mate. I knew it would be stamped somewhere, which is fair as that's why they're in business and want people to know it's manufactured by them. If only they marked them like Subaru which you could simply rub off.

Yes, they do the matt black which I posted above and the classic range which is the old style wrapped look, as posted by @Hawkeye D

I honestly didn't think it would be so difficult sourcing OE look hoses .There must be someone out there that produces them?

My silicone water pipes from ICP look so close to oem and they claim to be the only one that doesn't react with oat coolant.
Roose do oem look and they look very very good but have a very large ££ premium on them.

D'oh! You could always get a decal or stencil it on?

Rob, do you have a link to the hoses you bought from ICP?

I don't think they have a suitable kit for a Classic but they're branded anyway so no use to me but thanks.

Found a seller on eBay offering a set of coolant hoses in pink - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SILICONE-...53.m1438.l2649

Don't think that includes all of the hoses though and it would still leave the intercooler and power steering hoses to find.
