Classic Tyre pressures - amazing how much they affect 'feel'
I have always run my UK classic on the recommended pressures in the fuel flap.
Recently had a bit of droning from a flat spot on a rear P-Zero from standing, so pumped up the tyres to 34psi all round to get rid of it (which it has).
What's surprised me is how much better it drives. Turns in much better, glides over bumps at speed and hasn't turned into the terminal understeerer that I expected. It used to 'dig in' a bit at times but that has gone as well. The suspension was all replaced with standard Impreza KYBs and poly bushes a couple of years ago and the tyres have only done about 1k.
So, free mod done !

[QUOTE=Vxr2010;12083567]i’ve always run them a bit higher , i think prodrive suggested the same slightly higher pressure too[/QUOTE
I didn't know that - even back in the day when I had a couple of new Imprezas. It seems to have brought the handling 'flow' back that I remember having.
