Default Steering wheels

Hi everyone! Hope your all keeping well during the pandemic! A quick bit of advice.. I have a late blob wrx sti with the sti black 3 spoke steering wheel, I’ve purchased a standard wrx with the Subaru symbol

blob/hawk steering wheel off ebay and plan on getting it refurbed cause my car is my daily and the place I’m sending it off to is quite a way from where I live.. Can I do a straight swap and will the sti airbag fit the wrx wheel if I swap them over?
Thanks!

Damn that looks nice. I have used royals before for a BMW wheel but that looks bit tighter and neater.

wouldn't use royal now after not getting back to me after many emails, Facebook messages and even managed to get there mobile number from a previous customer and they didn't even reply to that ,,, edge were great right from the start and did three wheels for each of my subarus and each one turned out great ,, they even recovered the centre of a classic wheel for me to match in with the rest ,,, iv just brought another subaru so will be getting them to do that one soon aswell

Recently had a facelift classic momo wheel done by royal steering wheels and was spot on, quick turnaround. This was pre-coronavirus though so maybe they are struggling at the moment

its was OK in impreza in picture and also in new car but neither are driven that often.

Surely the point of alcantara is its grippy, putting it where you don't hold the steering wheel seems pointless.
It doesn't wear that bad really most people mistake wear as it just being dirty.
that said if the car was in everyday use I wouldn't bother with alcantara at all

it can't always be about function , some time you just have to do things because you want them lol ,, and a lot depends on where you put your hands ,, full gangster lean and hand on the top of the wheel

hatch is gone now to it new home further up north and still going strong

replaced the hatch and the classic rally car with two blob sti's and a type R so im back in the laggy 2.0 ,, to be fair I love them all
