I hadn’t been a member here for a good few years and was surprised at the difference in how quiet it was when I came back.

The number of times I’ve been reading a thread and not realised it’s info from 2009 etc is annoying too.

I guess many people have moved on from these cars now.

i think its more a case of people moving on from car forums in general to specific facebook groups etc - well so ive found. a lot of younger generation wont even use forums at all etc

problem with facebook groups is that you cant find/search info as easy as you can on forums

People don't and haven't bought Subaru's for years
gone are the days it was a performance icon in the mid 2000s
Nowadays it's an underperforming under supported car.
the 2.5 killed it really.
we are now over the hill of the chav ruined wrx and seeing either standard cars that are well looked after or projects to the standard of stone jedi car.

Forums as a platform are also dying and only used by the older generation mostly.

Do you remember the good old days before the ghost town?

Loved the Specials!
It doesn't help that people come back to say nothing positive; after all, we are all part of it. There is still all the information you would need on various forums, unlike the bull on Faceache.

Tbh i think it's picked up a bit - probably because everyone is at home because of Coronavirus

There was a time when you'd see no new posts in general tech for several days a couple of years back - definitely not as bad as back then

I thought that as well - it helps when you post a question and someone goes and finds an older thread with the answers.
