Default Tailgating

Hi all, when the weather is nice I like to get the Subaru out for a little drive but how do YOU deal with the d1ckhead5 who rag up your ****? I’ve usually got my son and gf in the car so they back off but there are times they stay real close and I’m fuming as in I want to pull over and confront the 1d1ots. Cheers

I slow down until they get pi##ed off and overtake, have even pulled over to let them go past, don't even give them the satisfaction of winding me up

There is a sliproad near us off a fast A road dual carriageway that rises up then does a really sharp left hand kink.

What I tend to do to all the ***** who tailgate me up the rise at 60mph is not brake before the kink but lift off very slightly then power into it at a safe-for-scooby-but-not-much-else speed.

That tends to make them realise they are going way too fast and it normally shocks them into slowing down and backing off.
Its a bit like the idiots doing 50 who still want to do that speed in a 30 zone when you slow down. Just gradually go slower and slower then wash your windscreen a lot.

... I would stick to the washers only because a tailgater did a full 360 behind me on the M65 once in panic (but didn't hit anything)

Put a false Dash Cam on your back window.

It works wonders
