Default Full bill of health courtesy of A.S performance and Thwaites

So for the past few months my impreza has been a little neglected, nothing major just little niggles that have prevented me enjoying the car so its been parked up on my drive and forgotten about.

twice in the last 4 months ive had to get recovery out due to broken boost clamps leaving me stranded
there has been a broken t-piece in the boost lines
few bulbs gone
and the speed sensor kept playing up putting the eml light on

i got in touch with alyn @ as performance and ordered some murray boost clamps and also some motul gear 300 for the gearbox and diff.
i took the car over to thwaites yesterday and gave them a list of jobs to get done including a health check on the dyno.

less than 24 hours later they rang me to say everything had been completed and the car pulled like a train on the dyno making 354bhp and just over 400flbs which i am over the moon with.there was some issues with my fmic pipework which has now been sorted aswell.

i was that close to selling her to a breaker this week,i had lost all confidence in her (which was a shame as in the 2.5 years ive owned her she has been great).
a few of you may have picked up on the fact that im needing a bmw f10 m5 in my life so ive been constantly researching and looking at those for months now and whilst i would love it i think i would hate it aswell, its great having trusted specialists around for the subaru and parts are readily available - im not sure i would be in that position with the m5.

the mrs and i got married last week and our honeymoon is 8 weeks away so any plans for a big bhp impreza are out the window for now, but thanks to alyn and the team @ thwaites the confidence in my car has now returned.
will i keep her god only knows but for the time being i shall enjoy her again.

a big 'What-up' to alyn and the team at thwaites
cheers guys

Congratulations on getting married. If you think weddings and honeymoons are expensive, wait until children arrive!

Congrats on the car and getting married Sheksta. Always nice to see that there are still proper specialists in the game who are genuine and will look after you and the car.

i had a price i was happy with, i fell out of love with the car and was set on a m5 so all i thought about was a cash deposit for one.
