Default Time to say thank you, credit where credits due

So I thought it was about time I said some thank you's to some people that have been involved with my build over the past 12 months.

Richards Henry Motorsport
As performance
Martyn Jeffery

First off let me start by saying I don't normally do public gratuities, however I am a great believer in credit where credits due.

Some of you may already know of my build, some may not...
https://www.scoobynet.com/projects-4...-standard.html

The thread itself is due a huge update which I will get round to this week at some stage when I have chance, the car is now fully built, mapped and up and running. Done loads of road miles and even some competition. It's drives so well and goes great. Please remember people this is a road car, not a track car.

Let me start this with a thank you to Alyn at AS Performance
Alyn has supplied me with many parts throughout my build, all of which have been top quality. His prices great and the service even better. Parts have arrived so quickly often getting me out of the S!#t. In all honest truth I have never dealt with a greater parts supplier! To top it all off Alyn is a smashing bloke, who has given me some sound advice over the course of the build. Thanks very much mate.

Next up is Alan and Martyn Jeffery down at engine tuner
Towards the end of the build there was a few hick ups, some planned, some not planned.
These things happen...... But it's how we deal with them that counts.
At extremely short notice Martyn offered to map the car for me. Which considering 3 days later I was sprinting it, was greatly appreciated .
So the 650mile round trip was made there and back in the day.
What a great experience, seeing the car get mapped. Martyn was a great host and the car made some fantastic power. More importantly it drives so well. It was very informative day, learnt lots about the car and took away some thoughts for the future. Martyn and Alan are really nice blokes and were a pleasure to deal with, won't be the last time I make that journey.

And finally the biggest thank you has got to go to Richard Henry Motorsport in Bradford.
I'll be honest I don't even know where to begin with this........
For any of you on here that know me, particularly the ones of you that also know Richard Henry Motorsport. I'm sure you know the great relationship that I have with Andy, Simon Danny and Jack.
It's been one hell of a journey getting the car to where it is now. Without you the build wouldn't have happened at all.
I have never had such complete trust In a group of people as have these lads, I cannot imagine taking my cars anywhere else!
I know at times, I aren't the easiest of customers, changing things and moving the goal posts as customers do. However all I have ever received is great advice and support.
The quality of their work speaks for it's self when you look at the car, not only is it just so well put together but there is a whole host of bespoke parts manufactured by Richard Henrys on there.
Over the course of the past 12 months I've been lucky enough to spend a lot of time over at the garage, but even luckier to have been given the opportunities that I have. Learning about the cars, gaining experience and getting involved. For this I am very grateful!
In all honesty what I've written here is only scratching the surface. I believe that it is a very complete car now and this is because of all the thought, time and effort that has been put into it by you guys, what a great team!
I have made some great friends here and cannot thank you enough, cheers lads

Here's a few pics of the car, built and maintained at Richard Henry Motorsport Bradford

Thanks guys, its been a big effort getting it to this stage, im chuffed to bits.
Martyn - ive had no problems keeping it on the black stuff mate, just wasnt pointing in the right direction all the time it takes a fair bit of effort keeping it in check.

Dave - yeah ive got the graphs that martyn gave me, unfortunatly at this stage mate im going to keep the facts and figures to myself. Eventually i may stick them up on the build thread.

Cheers again chaps, it drives great and is a credit to the people memtioned above who whove been involved, i had a random email from a japanese car magazine a few months ago who were discussing a feature on car, not really sure if thats a something i want to do to be honest, well see.

Justin, just been reading your hillclimb report. Wow! Fair play to you mate, sounds like it was a very challanging weekend. Well done!

Great to read Joe and it's a pleasure when you can find people whom you can click with and provide above and beyond what you expect with service.

The car looks amazing and the engine bay is perfection... Absolute perfection !

I'm looking forward to seeing the car one day and have my eye on the calendar for the sprint series schedule.

What a build thread mate!! Spent the last 2 days getting through it (mostly at work)

Fantastic work!!! Any chance of any videos of her running or in any sprints??

Also Joe, just to be a little nosey I noticed in your build thread you said you didn't want to spend your money at scooby clinic and I just wondered why?

Cheers, tom.
