Asking the wrong person.

Maybe a call to Mattybr5@MB developements will get you the answer and maybe a suitable replacement subframe.

Get a second hand one bud there's loads about. I picked one up for a lad I know for £80. Believe the WRX and STI ones are different. As STI has extra holes. New your talking £400-£500.

I took mine off completely, to be fair it had rusted out quite quickly between MOT’s and was probably so useless anyway by that point.

I was searching for a new one then I found people arguing over whether you even needed one or not, then I saw some info that certain JDM models never had them so that kind of convinced me I didn’t need another heavy lump of metal to rust out again.

I believe he's after a front subframe (front crossmember) rather than the U shaped sub-frame (frame assembly -front)

That's a bloody good point Don, thanks for pointing out my ***** up! Ignore me OP

Yeah might not drive too we’ll with the subframe removed, sorry my head was on the horseshoe thing everyone was fussing about (and referred to as a subframe) a few years ago when they were all rusting.

£280 plus VAT and postage I guess. So talking over £350. As I said £80 for one in good nick. You can get them sandblasted and powder for abit more.
