Default Bargain powder coated wheels

Have wanted a set of these Blitzen wheels for a while and managed to find a set of 4 for a bargain £130.After reading some very mixed reviews about this company I thought I would take a chance at £20 per wheel so I took them over to City powder coaters in Birmingham & I highly recommend them.

They do any repairs (minor ones to the rims on mine, usual kerb scuffs) chemist strip, powder coat in any colour, although fancy colours are extra but not a lot, then lacquered.£20 without tyres & £30 to remove tyres & refit after. I had a meeting in Brum last week so I dropped them off (Tuesday)& they txt me this Tuesday to say they were ready. They are 75 miles away from me and I thought about getting them couriered back to me but I was off yesterday so went to fetch them which took me 3.5 hours and cost me about £13 in diesel in my 207 hdi.I got some sexy Yokos waiting to go on & the garage in the village where I live fits tyres for £5 so I am a very happy bunny at the mo.

Just asking as I have a set needs doing, and I'm up visiting every couple of months. I've actually been a (unpaid) member of BBS for years!

I have an issue with powder coating. If its rushed, i.e. oven temp is too high - usually because jobs are rushed to get through more in a day, it can affect light weight wheels, ending in them cracking and then falling apart. i have seen quite a few of these horror stories and it's really put me off. I'll stick to paint
