Please could as many people as possible do this as it's helping a good cause.
United Devices is a piece of software that's similar to SETI@Home and uses idle CPU time to match proteins etc....... to find a cure for cancer. It's all for a good cause.

tis a good cause but I can't do it. Why? well I work for a macintosh software developer so all the desktops are apple macs, and as yet UD don't have a mac client. They made a mac client for the Seti@home thing, so I'd say its in the pipe line.
Rest assured that as soon as the mac version is out I'll use it.

Mr. BBS-Master,
As there is a Scoobynet team involved and its a good cause, would there be a way to put a link thingy, (sorry not in IT!), so all the good natured and kind hearted members could sign up from the front page section?
Just an idea...

A Cure for cancer does exist! I kid you not.
Apricot seeds! They contain a lesser known vitamin that has been proved to destoy cancer cells as when in contact with the cells it releases a form of cyanide, which kill the cancer cells, whilst leaving non-cancer cells intact. The seeds are found inside the Apricot stone. A high dose is needed (around 50 seeds a day) if diagnosed cancer is to be noticeably 'cured', but the seeds can be bought in bulk from health firms etc (you don't have to buy 350 apicots a week )
Why isn't this Nobel Prize winning cure public knowledge? Ask the Global Pharmaceutical firms and 'associates' The race is on to recreate the vitimin in a marketable drug, as no firm can make any *real* money from the sale of Apricots or their seeds!! and so far the research and documentation has been banned from publication within majority of markets. I have seen a copy of the published report, the findings are staggering!!
Remember, you heard it Scoobynet first!!
