Subaru classic > e92 m3
Just wondering if anyone has gone from a high horsepower Subaru to an e92 m3?
did you regret it or was it a good decision? I am currently debating this but have a feeling in the back on my mind that the m3 may be a little dull and boring after a while, I currently have a 500+ subaru classic which is a weekend/trackday car which is what the m3 would be replacing.

I have a e92 m3 competition pack its 2011 along side my 400 bhp blob sti. scoobys faster in a straight line but around the track the m3 would certainly be quicker im mainly talking about the Nurburgring though as its my annual roadtrip!
My honest opinion is i wouldnt get one, unless your serious about lap times around a track
im actually getting my Subaru built at enginetuner atm to be 500+ hence why the m3 is on eBay as we speak!

They're very different cars mate......
I think you'd miss the rawness of your classic - particularly a highly tuned one. You need to rev the nuts out of the BMW V8 to get the most from it. I'm sure it will have much better build quality for a daily drive - but in this case, it's just going to be a toy anyway?
I'd stick with your classic.

I've got an E92 Competition Pack and an STi V6 Ltd... I love the Subaru, but the M3 wins hands down for me. More fun, better sound, better built, more comfortable and faster... but your 500bhp Classic will be an absolute missile and therefore the M3 would likely feel a bit flat to you. I'd recommend a long test drive before making any decisions because they are night and day cars.
