Subaru could take another image hit
If the report is accurate, the huge recall will also affect thousands of vehicles in Canada, Australia, the UK, and Europe .

Excuse my ignorance, but whats involved in fixing that ?
what all needs replaced in the process ?
its bad enough letting a main dealer fix airbags/brake lines/seconday air pump relays but to let them at a rebuilt engine is a step too far.

probably linked to the Japanese material scam that had a large corporation mis-selling cheap steel / metal to the car manufacturers under false paperwork

thats exactly my reason for asking. Not only that but would u even want a dealership mechanic doing it even if they replaced any parts with same spec as you've fitted ?

If you’ve imported a car and let’s say it needed a recall in Japan would Subaru catch up with you.

you’d need to ring up as I did with the airbag recall and they’ll sort it if needed very helpful at Subaru as I found when getting my airbag recall sorted
